The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
As an FPGA Engineer, you will work within our Critical Solutions team where you will create new, complex FPGA designs and enhance custom FPGA IP cores in VHDL, including simulation, synthesis, timing analysis, and testing in hardware. You will be working on new designs as well as bug fixes and new features on existing products. You will participate in regular code reviews and collaborate with other departments to deliver working solutions and gain real hands-on experience with a vast range of products that use cutting-edge technologies.
Must have:
- Experience in VHDL and Python.
- Relevant degree – e.g., engineering including digital design, or equivalent industry experience.
- Ability to write professional design documentation.
- Experience with different operating systems including UNIX and Windows.
- Understanding of firmware testing methods.
Advantageous:
- C Programming language to aid system testing.
- Knowledge of IP networks and Wireshark.
Experience working with interface protocols such as DDR3/4, PCIe, and 100G Ethernet.
