Churchill Estates Management is looking for a Foundation Manager to oversee the Churchill Foundation's daily operations. You will develop and implement fundraising activities through various events for the Churchill Foundation. Additionally, ensure all administrative and support tasks are completed to high standards and within agreed timeframes. You will build internal relationships with Trustees, Marketing, and Finance teams to promote events across Churchill, including all Regional Offices. Externally, you will foster relationships with Charity Partners, meet with Business Owners and Foundation supporters, and develop the Business Partner scheme and Event database.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the Foundation.
- Liaise with existing and prospective Charities.
- Collaborate with Business Partners to enhance the business partner scheme and maintain effective relationships.
- Work with the Board of Trustees to set and achieve fundraising targets through strategic planning.
- Generate creative and financially viable ideas for fundraising and events to meet targets.
- Handle all foundation communications to the agreed standards.
- Provide detailed event briefs including Purpose, Theme, and Key Messages.
- Prepare reports for quarterly Trustee meetings.
Conditions of Work
Work conditions are as per the employment contract. The role involves some travel and overnight stays within group expense guidelines. Working hours are 9:00-17:30 Monday to Thursday, and 9:00-17:00 on Friday. Extended hours may be required near event dates.
About You
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- Event management experience, including budgeting for the financial year and detailed event budgets.
- A levels or equivalent qualification.
- Strong IT skills, proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Creative thinking for event ideas and quick problem-solving skills.
- Full driving license.
