The Company: Nationwide Fire and Security company with over 20+ years industry experience, providing solutions to commercial, private, public, residential and the retail market. Due to expansion, they are now seeking additional Fire Alarm Service Engineer engineers.

As a Fire Alarm Service Engineer your package could look like:

  1. Salary £35,000 – £45,000 basic DOE
  2. Travel time paid after 30mins each way
  3. Overtime rate – time and a half and double time on Sundays and Bank holidays
  4. Call out rota 1 in 6 days, with standby rates of £182 a week
  5. Call out paid flat rate for the first 4 hours, anything after is paid time and a half
  6. Company van

As a Fire Alarm Service Engineer your main responsibilities will be:

  1. 3 years plus experience servicing and maintaining Fire Alarm Systems
  2. Servicing, PPM and Technical support of Fire Alarm Systems
  3. Working to BS5839 Standards
  4. Managing your own time, ensuring jobs are completed correctly

As a Fire Alarm Service Engineer your knowledge and experience will be:

  1. 3 years plus experience servicing and maintaining Fire Alarm Systems
  2. Servicing, PPM and Technical support of Fire Alarm Systems
  3. Working to BS5839 Standards
  4. FIA or equivalent training is highly desirable
  5. Install and commissioning Fire Alarm Systems experience is desired but not essential
  6. 18th Edition, NVQ, CITY and Guilds or BTEC is desired but not essential
  7. Working within all sectors: Commercial, Industrial, Residential, Private and Public.
