The Company: Nationwide Fire and Security company with over 20+ years industry experience, providing solutions to commercial, private, public, residential and the retail market. Due to expansion, they are now seeking additional Fire Alarm Service Engineer engineers.
As a Fire Alarm Service Engineer your package could look like:
- Salary £35,000 – £45,000 basic DOE
- Travel time paid after 30mins each way
- Overtime rate – time and a half and double time on Sundays and Bank holidays
- Call out rota 1 in 6 days, with standby rates of £182 a week
- Call out paid flat rate for the first 4 hours, anything after is paid time and a half
- Company van
As a Fire Alarm Service Engineer your main responsibilities will be:
- 3 years plus experience servicing and maintaining Fire Alarm Systems
- Servicing, PPM and Technical support of Fire Alarm Systems
- Working to BS5839 Standards
- Managing your own time, ensuring jobs are completed correctly
As a Fire Alarm Service Engineer your knowledge and experience will be:
- 3 years plus experience servicing and maintaining Fire Alarm Systems
- Servicing, PPM and Technical support of Fire Alarm Systems
- Working to BS5839 Standards
- FIA or equivalent training is highly desirable
- Install and commissioning Fire Alarm Systems experience is desired but not essential
- 18th Edition, NVQ, CITY and Guilds or BTEC is desired but not essential
- Working within all sectors: Commercial, Industrial, Residential, Private and Public.
