I am working with a leading international management consultancy who are looking for a financial accounting manager to join the London team in a role covering the UK region. This business is a household name as one of the world’s leading consultancy businesses and has a truly global footprint. The firm has a big focus on developing its staff and providing progression for individuals’ careers.
Your new role
This is a broad and varied role with key duties and responsibilities including:
- Leading the financial accounting activities during monthly and year-end close processes.
- Preparation of financial statements – IFRS, UK GAAP.
- Revenue recognition compliance in line with UK and US GAAP.
- Consolidations.
- Business partnering with function heads including budgeting and forecasting support.
- Treasury Management.
- Process Improvements.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant with proven experience in both practice and within an LLP in industry. You will have good knowledge of accounting, tax, budgeting and forecasting with strong knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP and Consolidations. You will need to be a confident communicator, capable of building strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
