Job Title: Finance Systems Support Manager
My client, a leading international Law Firm, is seeking a Finance Systems Support Manager to oversee their Finance Systems Support team.
Purpose of the Role:
As a Finance Systems Support Manager, you will be responsible for managing and improving the support team, providing high-quality financial systems support, and ensuring effective training and documentation. You will also lead projects and initiatives to enhance service delivery across the global finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and motivate the support team, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Set objectives, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
- Coordinate support calls using incident management processes.
- Guide system setup and support team through logical setup steps.
- Provide support metrics on volume and quality.
- Improve month-end processes and ensure compliance with requirements.
- Manage rotas for tasks and month/year-end activities.
- Propose and implement service improvements.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and Development Teams to scope and roll out changes.
- Act as a trusted advisor on finance system use and administration, developing user documentation.
- Design and document service and functional improvements.
- Build relationships with IT Service Desk to align support processes.
- Partner with IT Teams to identify system issues and weaknesses.
Key Requirements:
- Previous managerial experience with ability to lead a team.
- Experience working with 3e financial systems.
- Strong understanding of financial information systems.
- Proven track record of delivering quality customer service and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, proactive and self-motivated.
- Ability to own tasks and lead processes to successful completion.
