Job Description:

We are offering a newly created opportunity at an award-winning, global integrated marketing agency. They partner with clients to enhance branding, digital transformation, technology, and creative initiatives. You will work closely with the group Financial Controller, responsible for preparing and consolidating financial accounts for the UK office. As a fast-growing business, there is ample room for career progression. The role offers hybrid working (3 days in the London office), great benefits, and a salary range of £65k-£75k.

The role includes:

1. Group consolidation reporting
2. Intercompany reconciliations and reporting on group subsidiaries
3. Conversion of foreign currency
4. Reviewing the balance sheet and resolving issues
5. Owning the audit process and liaising with external auditors
6. Ensuring group reporting compliance with UK GAAP
7. Ensuring year-end accounts are compliant
8. Reviewing and preparing statutory accounts
9. Managing tax returns
10. Handling acquisition accounting when necessary
11. Participating in ad hoc reporting projects

The person:

• Ideally ACA qualified from an audit practice (media clients a bonus)
• PQE experience
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Proficient in Excel and systems/processes
• Experience working within deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
