A global leader in providing financial insights and solutions is looking for a Finance Manager to oversee financial performance reporting and controls for operations in the UK, South Africa, and Dubai.
Your new role
- Prepare and ensure timely and compliant financial statements in accordance with local GAAP.
- Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts and regulatory filings, adhering to the Companies Act and other local laws within the West entities.
- Coordinate and manage local tax filings with the global tax team, including reviewing corporate tax returns, VAT returns, and other related tax filings.
- Serve as the point of escalation for external auditors, ensuring timely resolution of any issues.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including FCA requirements, SOX, and any changes impacting financial reporting.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and improve financial reporting processes.
- Manage and develop one finance professional, fostering high-quality work and professional growth.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Qualified ACA in a Top 10 Firm.
- Knowledge of local GAAP/IFRS. US GAAP desirable.
- Strong technical understanding of revenue recognition accounting policies.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy and strong analytical skills.
