A global leader in providing financial insights and solutions is looking for a Finance Manager to oversee financial performance reporting and controls for operations in the UK, South Africa, and Dubai.

Your new role

  1. Prepare and ensure timely and compliant financial statements in accordance with local GAAP.
  2. Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts and regulatory filings, adhering to the Companies Act and other local laws within the West entities.
  3. Coordinate and manage local tax filings with the global tax team, including reviewing corporate tax returns, VAT returns, and other related tax filings.
  4. Serve as the point of escalation for external auditors, ensuring timely resolution of any issues.
  5. Monitor and ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including FCA requirements, SOX, and any changes impacting financial reporting.
  6. Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and improve financial reporting processes.
  7. Manage and develop one finance professional, fostering high-quality work and professional growth.

What you’ll need to succeed

  1. Qualified ACA in a Top 10 Firm.
  2. Knowledge of local GAAP/IFRS. US GAAP desirable.
  3. Strong technical understanding of revenue recognition accounting policies.
  4. Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy and strong analytical skills.
