Job Description:
Field Service Engineer required for an international packaging equipment manufacturer based in the Maidenhead area. The successful candidate will have a strong field service background ideally within a similar industry.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to clients both remotely and on-site, diagnosing and resolving equipment issues promptly and efficiently.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks and inspections on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure continuous operation.
- Repair and Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, implementing necessary repairs and replacements of parts to restore functionality.
- Installation and Commissioning: Install and commission packaging equipment at client sites, ensuring proper setup and functionality according to specifications.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Ideally experienced in a similar industry
Salary dependent on experience
Working Conditions:
- 8:30am – 5pm
- X1 night out per week, covered by the company
- Travel on a national scale, routes will be mapped out in advance
