They are recruiting for a Commissioning and Service Engineer.
Field Service Engineer – EV, Solar and Battery
Glasgow/Hybrid (1 week WFH, 2 weeks travelling to local sites)
£40,000 – £50,000
Daily Duties:
- Commission and service renewable energy systems across commercial sites.
- Assess client requirements and develop tailored technical solutions.
- Oversee system installation, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, working closely with the wider team.
- Provide technical guidance to clients, installers, and project managers.
- Conduct proactive servicing and performance assessments of existing installations.
- Collaborate with R&D to support the development and implementation of new technologies.
This role offers flexibility on location, and you can be based anywhere in the North East. However, you must be comfortable with regular travel to client sites across the region.
Requirements:
- Experience in the renewable energy sector from a commercial background.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and circuit design.
- High IT proficiency and familiarity with networking technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
