Partner with the best

As a Field Service Engineer , you will provide technical onsite direction and assistance to the customer in the operation, maintenance, repair, and installation of Wellheads, X-trees, and other Baker Hughes related equipment within your discipline. You will communicate with onshore support and the customer regarding all program activities and problems through accurate, regular, and timely reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow and execute Operating Service Procedures (OSP) and Project related Procedures (PRP).
  • Control inventory of Baker Hughes related equipment offshore.
  • Perform pressure testing in line with installation and maintenance procedures.
  • Assist in preparing work, status, or problem reports for the customer or project.
  • Assist in planning the shipment of Baker Hughes equipment from offshore or customer site.
  • Assist in failure investigations and review of NPT occurrences.
  • Participate in the preparation of installation procedures and stack-up testing programs.
  • Ensure the Daily Operation Report is updated and handed over to relevant offshore personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in a similar role with knowledge of Drilling and Completions Operations.
  • Ability to discuss technical problems and solutions with the customer.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and repair work.
  • Completed training courses appropriate to FSE grade.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Familiar with offshore installation processes.
  • Hold a relevant technical education/apprenticeship certificate.
  • Experience from several offshore installations with basic knowledge of typical operating routines.
