Looking to take your technical expertise on the road? You’ll have the opportunity to join our team as a Field Engineer, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing our products and services. You’ll work closely with clients to ensure their satisfaction and uphold internal and MOD policies.

  • You’ll conduct site surveys and pre-installation discoveries, ensuring smooth installations and upgrades of managed services.
  • You’ll provide technical support during pre-sales demonstrations, showcasing our solutions to potential clients.
  • You’ll take ownership of escalated incidents, problems, and change requests, resolving them promptly to meet our SLA timescales.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site surveys and pre-installation discoveries prior to the installation of new or upgraded managed services.
  • Support pre-sales technical demonstrations as required.
  • Responsible for technical early life support requirements on all new managed services.
  • Produce all support and pre-installation documentation where appropriate.

Systems Maintenance:

  • Take ownership of assigned escalated incidents, problems, and change requests to ensure the company meets its SLA timescales.
  • Timely update of the company’s Service Management ticketing system.
  • Carry out all maintenance tasks for on-site services as detailed in contracted service management plans.
  • Maintain those Reference Facilities that support Systems Maintenance.
  • Consult with the Service desk and infrastructure team to address in-depth issues.
  • Carry out initial inspections on returned end-user equipment and on new or replacement end-user equipment prior to dispatch.
  • Implement agreed service changes and ensure all documentation is updated to reflect configuration changes.
  • Asset Management for all managed services.
  • Build, install and configure managed ICT services in line with the company’s product set and customer requirements.
  • Assist in the technical day-to-day relationship with internal customer service teams and 3rd party supplier interfaces.
  • Ensure all appropriate installation documentation is produced.
