Job Description: Team Leader

Location: Sevington

Salary: £17.82 hourly rate + 34 days annual leave (accrued pro rata)

Job Type: Temporary ongoing

Working hours: 4 on 4 off fixed days, Monday – Sunday, 7am – 7:30pm

Role Overview

As a Team Leader, you and your team will perform various documentary functions on goods before they are cleared into and out of the United Kingdom. The role requires self-motivation, flexibility, and readiness to support critical national operations. This position is based at a specific location; remote working is not available.

Responsibilities

1. Be a highly visible manager responsible for team performance, development, and engagement
2. Serve as the primary contact for customers
3. Gather accurate information directly from customers
4. Input data into systems accurately and promptly
5. Resolve issues or escalate to a line manager as needed

Candidate Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a positive attitude
• Good administrative skills with experience using Microsoft packages
• Availability for the full duration of the assignment
• Willingness to undergo a health assessment to ensure role safety and effectiveness
• Full PPE provided during the assignment
• Comprehensive training will be provided
