AIG underwriting teams help to find insurance solutions in areas including Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, Multinational Clients, and High Net Worth individuals. How you will create an impact:
AIG's underwriters develop insurance solutions that address the exposures of companies and offer solutions for our changing world. You will be responsible for underwriting profitable Environmental Insurance programs based on AIG's strategy and appetite. You will build internal and external relationships with the broking community to aid in the sourcing of high-quality submissions, along with using pricing tools and judgement to produce technical target premiums. You will be responsible for shaping coverage, terms, and conditions dependent on each individual client’s needs. You will work with Senior Underwriters to improve customer experience and contribute to the education of brokers and clients through thought leadership marketing and presentations.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Experience within General Insurance or Environmental Consultancy Sectors.
- Highly motivated individual, professional and results driven.
- Proficient in terms of ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships internally and externally.
- Analytical skills of numeric data with the ability to interpret and problem solve.
- Proactive, energetic and a team player.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to changing requirements with collaboration with a wide range of colleagues, clients, and brokers to deliver solutions.
