Job Description:

Our client is seeking an Environmental Permitting Consultant to provide technical support across permitting activities, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and contributing to waste management and industrial operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing technical support for permitting services based on a comprehensive understanding of the environmental permitting regime.
• Applying expertise in waste management and industrial activities, including landfill, waste treatment, hazardous waste, and waste recovery.
• Reviewing environmental monitoring data and preparing reports and Environmental Risk Assessments.
• Contributing to projects and supervising others, with up-to-date knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory regimes.
• Offering technical advice to team members and liaising with the Environment Agency to facilitate project operations.

Requirements include:

• Relevant qualification in a specialist discipline.
• Experience in project management.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Beneficial: CIWM membership.
