The Enterprise Account Executive (EAE) is responsible for driving revenue growth by building and nurturing new and existing client relationships, facilitating customer success, and developing strategic, value-based business relationships. The role emphasizes new business development and account expansion. Success depends on territory and strategic account planning, prospecting, qualifying opportunities within Fortune 1000 accounts, understanding client needs, maintaining a pipeline of 3-4x quota, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, generate, and qualify sales opportunities; maintain a pipeline of 3-4x quota
- Discover prospect needs and align solutions accordingly
- Present and demonstrate products to C-level executives and stakeholders
- Prepare detailed proposals supporting customer needs
- Navigate complex decision-making processes using sales methodologies
- Overcome objections and obstacles to close deals
- Develop expertise in products and industry
- Manage pipeline and forecast accurately; maintain CRM records
- Co-sell with partners and resellers; collaborate with internal teams
Must-Have:
- 5+ years of software enterprise sales experience or similar role
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience selling to C-level executives, especially in Finance
- Proven success managing and selling into Fortune 1000 accounts
- Track record of exceeding sales quotas
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Experience selling directly and through resellers
