About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3-5, including GCSE and A-Level English Literature and Language.
• Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and encourage critical thinking, analytical skills, and creative expression.
• Assess student progress through essays, presentations, creative writing pieces, and examinations, providing detailed and constructive feedback.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as debating societies, creative writing clubs, and theatre trips.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English, with a strong academic background in the subject.
• Extensive experience teaching English at the secondary level, including GCSE and A-Level.
• A deep understanding of English literature and language, and the ability to inspire a love of the subject in students.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
