NOTE: This is NOT an IT / Computer Support role – It is an electronics role.
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Hybrid role (2 weeks home based, 2 weeks office based) – Blackburn, Bolton, Manchester, Liverpool, Bury, Rochdale, Preston, Burnley
Salary: £25,000 rising to £27,000 after 6 months
Start Date: ASAP
You will join an established business in the electronics manufacture and installation sector. As an Electronics Helpdesk Support Engineer, your role will be to provide first line telephone support to engineers, distributors, and colleagues. You will diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including asking customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem. You will talk clients through a series of actions, either via phone, email, or chat, until they’ve solved a technical issue.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, an interest in electronics, and prior experience in a Telephone Support role of an electronics product set.
The role will suit individuals currently working as Electronics Engineer – Support, Electronics Helpdesk Support Engineer, Electronics Helpdesk Support, 1st Line Electronics Support Engineer, 1st Line Technical Support – Electronics, Helpdesk, Customer Support and be living within a commutable distance of Manchester, Liverpool, Bury, Rochdale, Preston, Burnley or be willing to relocate.
