Job Description:
We are advertising this Electrical Supervisor role on behalf of our client ‘City Facilities Management’. City FM was established in 1985 and has grown to become one of the world’s largest privately held, integrated FM companies.
City has a unique business model and for over 30 years has provided leading maintenance, engineering, technical procurement & support in dedicated partnerships with National Blue Chip companies. City also has a global presence with offices in the UK, Europe, North America, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair a range of electrical and mechanical plant and equipment within retail outlets for a key national customer in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
- Comply with company health and safety policies and procedures, undertaking regular planned store visits, completing PPM tasks, and performing minor repairs as requested by the customer.
- Work will include multi-skill elements including basic plumbing, joinery, and building repairs, as well as core electrical tasks.
- Ensure underperformance on KPIs is understood and action plans are in place to drive improvement.
- Support the Divisional Account Manager on all technical/electrical issues.
- Complete specified reports and compliance documentation and act on any issues raised.
- Participate in the recruitment and selection process of vacancies.
People Responsibility: This role is currently responsible for managing a team of electricians (around 5). As the business grows, the team size may increase accordingly.
Qualifications Required:
- Fully qualified electrician with City and Guilds 236 Parts 1 and 2 Electrical Installation or NVQ Level 3.
- C&G 2391 Testing and Inspection is desirable for this role but not essential.
- 18th edition certificate.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Flexible attitude to work.
- This role includes a call-out rota of 1 in every 4 weeks covering evenings and weekends.
