Job Title: Electrical Engineer (Mobile)

Location: Glasgow

Contract: Permanent, Full-time, 40 hours per week

Salary: £35,000 per annum + overtime and benefits

We are excited to welcome an experienced Electrician to our expanding Engineering team as a Mobile Electrical Engineer. This role offers a variety of tasks and challenges, ensuring that no two days are the same.

Responsibilities:

1. Upgrading and installing electrical systems
2. Performing maintenance work, inspections, and fault-finding across a portfolio of clients within the Scottish government
3. Keeping clients informed of developments and recording all activities, including remedial works and inspection logs
4. Conducting safety assessments and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
5. Providing technical support and training to junior staff
6. Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
7. Collaborating with other engineers and departments on large-scale projects

Qualifications & Skills:

• Level 2 and 3 City and Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation qualifications
• 17th or 18th Edition certification
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in using IT systems to record tasks and updates
• Valid driving license
