Early Years & Family Educator, Lincolnshire
This role involves working in Horncastle and surrounding communities, supporting children and families through high-quality educational sessions, child development, and positive parenting.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing engaging educational sessions for children and families, supporting early learning, health, and emotional literacy.
- Planning, delivering, and evaluating activities to promote development and parental engagement.
- Monitoring progress of vulnerable children in partnership with other settings, following the EYFS Framework.
- Collaborating with health and social care professionals to offer seamless support to families.
- Supporting parents in accessing health and developmental services, including the Healthy Child Programme.
Qualifications and Experience:
- NVQ Level 2 in Early Years Care and Education or equivalent, or relevant health/social care degree, or Early Years Teacher Status.
- Knowledge of child development, EYFS, and play-based learning.
- Effective communication skills and experience working with multi-agency teams.
- Understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
Additional Details:
- Fixed Term until 31 March 2026, with potential extension.
- 52 weeks per year.
- Interview scheduled for Thursday, 21st September 2023, via Microsoft Teams.
- This position requires a DBS check and is not exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974).
