The Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS) business unit at KPMG is looking for a Dynamics 365 F&O Senior Finance Consultant with experience across all phases of large-scale enterprise Dynamics 365 F&O projects. This role requires a hands-on approach, a solid understanding of finance processes and procedures, and knowledge of interfacing and integration with Dynamics products. A demonstrable history of consultancy experience is essential, as this role involves continuous interaction with clients and project teams, including both onshore and offshore development teams. The role also includes presales activities focused on Dynamics F&O functionality and the wider Microsoft platform, along with contribution to proposals and business development, and mentoring junior staff. This position is central to KPMG MBS’s delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions. It offers a dynamic and exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing area within a well-established global Big 4 firm.
Responsibilities
- Participate in full end-to-end implementations and all project lifecycle phases
- Work with D365FO interfaces and integrations
- Gather and document functional requirements and conduct gap/fit analysis
- Create solution and integration design documents in collaboration with development teams
- Manage scope and change control to prevent scope creep
- Deliver end-user training to clients and colleagues
- Provide on-site support during delivery and go-live phases
- Stay informed about product roadmap and upcoming releases of D365FO
- Assist in responding to RFPs and RFQs
- Resolve complex problems with innovative solutions
- Promote awareness of product updates and upselling opportunities
- Represent KPMG MBS professionally at all times
Requirements / Qualifications and Skills
- Consulting experience with excellent presentation skills
- Ability to lead meetings and workshops, confidently present to C-Suite executives
- At least 6 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations (D365FO) or AX2012, covering modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash and Bank Management, Budgeting, Project Management and Accounting, Fixed Assets, Management Reporter, Financial Consolidation, and electronic banking files; with advanced knowledge in financial workflows or journal approval processes
- Experience with D365FO interfaces and integrations
- Microsoft Dynamics certification in relevant modules, preferably current version
- Experience with LCS and Azure DevOps is beneficial
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Visio is a plus)
- Understanding of Power Platform and Business Intelligence (BI) capabilities is preferred
