Job Description:

  • UK experience of working on public, private, or third sector drainage design projects.
  • Competency using UK standards such as DMRB, The SUDs Manual, CDM, and local authority standards
  • Ability to design all aspects of drainage from concept to detailed design
  • Experience of drainage design interfaces (e.g. SUDs, highways, environmental, structural etc.)
  • Ability to prepare reports and specifications and to collect and assimilate other data and statistics necessary for the preparation of progress and technical reports.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulic modelling software such as Micro Drainage
  • Working towards professional membership/accreditation with an industry recognised Professional Body
  • The legal right to work in the UK
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar
  • Familiarity with 3D design tools and BIM
  • Knowledge of EA Business Case development
  • Working knowledge of S278, S38, S104, and S106 design and applications
