We have a great opportunity for a Drainage Engineer to join our team covering Enfield and the wider areas. The main purpose of the role is to carry out planned and reactive drainage tasks safely and to a high standard. You will respond to emergencies during normal hours and provide out-of-hours service when on call, ensuring our customers' trading is uninterrupted.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary: £35,992 per annum
- Door-to-door pay
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Van with optional personal use from day 1

- Up to 4% discretionary bonus scheme, subject to targets
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and identify faults with equipment and systems, providing effective solutions and escalating when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and follow best practices.
- Sponsor and complete drainage surveys and technical reports, sharing key data with relevant personnel.
- Represent Arcus professionally, maintaining a good appearance, vehicle condition, and following dress code.
- Support colleagues through training, upskilling apprentices, and effective communication.
Qualifications
- Full UK driving license (Essential)
- CSCS card (Desirable)
- High-pressure water jetting qualification (Desirable)
- Confined space certification (Desirable)
- Understanding of commercial drainage systems, ideally from a retail environment
- Knowledge of CCTV and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment dealing with store teams and the public.
