Social network you want to login/join with: Project Document Controller Responsibilities Oversee all Project Document Controllers and provide functional support. Set up, manage, and maintain project document control systems in line with company, customer, and project requirements. Onboard all users of EDMS (Project, Client, Supply Chain). Develop and implement the Document Control Plan, Policies, and systems according to project needs. Ensure a consistent approach to information management across the business. Coordinate all activities related to document control, including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence. Input document data into standard registers (TIDP’s), ensuring accuracy and currency. Distribute controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings to relevant staff, subcontractors, and suppliers. Maintain documents and drawings securely in the document control office with easy traceability. Manage files and control logs as per project requirements (MIDP, Deliverables Schedule, Handover requirements). Organise and file document receipts and distribution lists (using a RACI), following project and corporate naming and numbering procedures. Issue and receive controlled documentation, log issues and receipts, and create electronic transmittals. Archive, retrieve, and store documentation in accordance with company standards and policies. Verify compliance with company formats, templates, and standards. Assist with issuing, receiving, and tracking supplier deliverables through to project close-out and handover. Support quality checks and audits of document databases, addressing anomalies. Endorse the corporate content management system to ensure business continuity. Ensure team adherence to document control and numbering procedures. Serve as the focal point for all document management matters within the team. Communicate document management issues to the project team effectively. Provide training and practical support to team members. Maintain hard copy document masters in the satellite project library or archives. Manage training, performance, resourcing, and line management of document controllers. Provide monthly reports on document control performance to management. Maintain contacts within the project team, gather feedback, and respond appropriately. Handle Official and Official Sensitive documentation responsibly. Education, Training, and Skills Educated to NVQ level or equivalent. Experience managing a document control team. Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and relevant software. Experience setting up and using electronic document management systems. Able to keep accurate records and reports. Skilled in data entry and information retrieval. Experience with SL systems Icepac & Cimage is advantageous (training provided). High accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to prioritise, organise workload, and follow processes. Capable of meeting deadlines without compromising quality. Ability to work independently or collaboratively and build strong relationships. #J-18808-Ljbffr
