Job Description and Responsibilities

Visa is seeking an experienced payments professional to serve as both a strategic advisor and expert delivery partner for government acceptance solutions worldwide. This global role requires knowledge of various payment systems such as card networks, bulk clearing systems, real-time payments, or open banking. Responsibilities include:

1. Supporting the Global Head of Payment Solutions in developing revenue-focused growth strategies for government revenue collection.
2. Collaborating with Visa SMEs to identify and pursue commercial opportunities with governments at various levels, including solution design, pricing, proposal development, and pre-sales support.
3. Leading the development of payment processing partnership strategies.
4. Consolidating Visa\’s buyer and seller solutions into a cohesive suite focused on revenue collection outcomes.
5. Developing thought leadership on government payment processing, balancing risk, liquidity, platform utility, settlement speed, and fraud minimization.
6. Partnering with sales teams to develop commercial packaging and pricing strategies.
7. Maintaining deep knowledge of Visa\’s capabilities across relevant areas.
8. Contributing to market strategies and digital roadmaps in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
9. Liaising with product owners to align product development with government needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in payment processing for government-serving companies with a strong network understanding.
• Critical thinking skills, combining business, commercialization, and technical design.
• Ability to translate client needs into product requirements and adapt solutions accordingly.
• Deep knowledge of emerging payments technologies and market trends.
• Technical understanding of payment flows and system architecture is advantageous.
• Strong communication and stakeholder influence skills, especially in matrix environments.
• Self-starter with networking skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Proven project planning and execution abilities.
