Exciting opportunity for a Director - Senior Sales Manager Private Markets with a Security Services division of a leading Global Bank in London. This individual will be responsible for raising the firm's profile as a Tier 1 solutions provider to the Private Capital market in the UK and Middle East, generating new client revenues on a rolling basis to meet sales targets. Target clients include Pure Player Private Capital firms across the jurisdiction as well as Private Capital arms of select Asset Management and Asset Owner firms.
Key responsibilities:
- Meet annual sales targets of a Senior Salesperson.
- Build a strategic calling plan for a defined universe of targets by building relationships with senior stakeholders at the client/prospect.
- Create a sustainable pipeline to achieve sales targets through highly active calling programme aiming for 100 client interactions per year, including meetings, presentations, etc., positioning the firm positively and differentiating it.
- Create and maintain a relevant sales strategy document.
- Work with business lines and product teams to define and drive execution of innovative solutions and messaging for the segment.
- Position the firm ahead of RFPs and create value propositions to differentiate the organisation.
- Collaborate with SMEs, RFP team, and management to deliver quality and differentiating RFP responses and sales documents.
- Raise the profile in the Private Markets segment by participating in industry and media events to position the firm's capabilities and stay updated on industry topics and trends.
- Maintain strong relationships with relevant consultants to positively influence their understanding of the firm's Private Markets capabilities.
- Coordinate with internal colleagues to stay updated on bank products and services and ensure segment needs are met promptly.
- Adhere to internal and external policies regarding sales conduct.
- Maintain close working relationships with FIC on mutual prospects.
The Successful Applicant:
Proven experience in financial services and the firm's industry. Understanding of the global alternatives sector (Liquid Hedge and illiquid Private Assets). Strong sales track record, particularly in Private Markets. Leadership skills and ability to influence global stakeholders. Experience leading complex deals. Market reputation. Ability to work in a complex, transversal environment. Demonstrated adherence to management principles such as people care, client focus, risk awareness, leadership, and innovation.
