Job Responsibilities
- Own the P&L and commercial strategy of the product group in conjunction with the Director of Operations for the North America region.
- Direct, lead, and manage a small but growing sales team, as well as drive growth through distribution partners.
- Execute strategic sales plans and activities to gain market share and increase overall profits.
- Collaborate with the Vice President, Director of Operations, Marketing, and Product Marketing teams to develop and execute sales and market strategies, conduct quarterly sales meetings, business reviews, and business plans.
- Develop monthly sales reports based on goals and KPIs, and report back to the Vice President.
- Conduct joint sales customer calls with Sales Managers to pursue new business and ensure retention of current customers.
- Drive growth through new customer acquisition, demonstrating a strong hunter mentality focused on growth.
- Lead from the front as a working Sales Leader, driving new business and managing a customer portfolio.
- Create a culture of learning by engaging the sales team in regular communications, initiating sales meetings, observing client visits, and participating in coaching and training. Maintain discipline standards and celebrate successes.
- Drive commercial and operational excellence by establishing and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide market and product feedback to marketing and product development teams.
