Position Overview
The Director of Product Partnerships will oversee three core pillars: maintaining relationships with Tier 1 Product Partners (Meta, Google, Apple, etc.), Directory Partners, and Publishers; ensuring effective communication within our organization; developing new tech partnerships; and managing the Product Partnerships P&L.
Your Responsibilities
- Build and Manage a Product Partnerships team: Develop strategy, hire 1-2 ICs to support team goals.
- Help Product Management prioritize partnership roadmaps: Collaborate with Product Leaders to showcase partnership value and prioritize initiatives.
- Build and Maintain Strategic Partnerships: Develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers, aligning product capabilities with client needs.
- Negotiate Partnership Contracts and manage Partnerships Budget: Push deals that benefit both sides; own the partnership budget.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Coordinate with product, FP&A, Partnerships, and client operations for seamless client experiences.
- Gather Market Feedback: Collect client insights to inform product development and market alignment.
- Drive Product-Led Growth: Increase adoption through product-centric strategies with measurable outcomes.
- Develop Playbooks and Processes: Create frameworks for efficient handoffs, communication, and client acquisition.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong product knowledge, technical communication, business development, and collaboration skills. Experience with AI, SaaS, or MarTech is preferred.
Your Profile
- Professional Experience: 5+ years in product management, business development, or partnerships within B2B SaaS. Proven client relationship management.
- Product Expertise & Business Acumen: Ability to articulate technical features as business value.
- Strategic Partnership Development: Track record of nurturing high-value client relationships.
- Collaborative Approach: Effective cross-departmental work.
- Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving: Creative, client-focused solutions.
- Technical Aptitude: Experience with AI, SaaS, or MarTech preferred.
- Educational Foundation: Bachelor\’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
