Job Description:

Responsibilities

1. Provide strategic leadership for Foundation Studies, including English and Maths, to enhance student achievement and progression.
2. Develop and implement an innovative, inclusive, and high-quality curriculum that meets the needs of a diverse student body.
3. Lead and inspire a team of educators, ensuring outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment practices.
4. Drive continuous improvement in student outcomes, retention, and engagement.
5. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective provision and progression pathways.
6. Monitor and evaluate performance, using data-driven insights to enhance student experience and success.

About You:

We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking educational leader who:

1. Has a strong track record in leading and improving provision in Foundation Studies, and/or English and Maths.
2. Holds a relevant teaching qualification and a higher-level qualification in a related subject.
3. Has experience of curriculum design, quality improvement, and innovative teaching methodologies.
4. Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
5. Is committed to raising aspirations and achieving the best outcomes for learners.
6. Has a sound understanding of FE sector regulations, funding, and inspection frameworks.
