We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Estates to lead the strategic and operational management of the College’s estate. This pivotal role involves overseeing the development, maintenance, and efficient operation of all buildings, facilities, and grounds. The Director of Estates will ensure that the College’s physical environment supports its educational mission and strategic goals, creating a safe, sustainable, and inspiring place to learn and work.

Required Skills

  1. A relevant degree in estates management, facilities management, construction, or a related field.
  2. Significant experience in a senior estates management role, preferably within an educational setting.
  3. Professional membership of a relevant body (e.g., RICS, IWFM).
  4. Experience with modern building management systems and technologies.
  5. Educated to a degree level (or equivalent).
  6. Experience of health and safety systems management in a large organisation.
  7. Experience of operating over a number of sites.
