This position is responsible for executing defined services that support the digital needs of the area and hotels. The Digital Specialist Manager role is comprehensive and ensures the completion of tasks requested by Hotel Account Managers overseeing a portfolio of hotels.

The role requires ensuring hotels align with global compliance and strategies, and activating across digital channels such as multilingual global sites, EChannels (OTA’s), and segmental channels (F&B, Spa, marketing channels) to maximize online presence and hotel performance.

The Digital Specialist Manager will support activities and activations as per the Area Wide Campaign calendar, including destination marketing, demand generation, and group campaigns set by the Senior Director, Commercial Services.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

  • 3+ years’ experience in an online agency or client services role, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years’ experience leading project teams and implementing digital strategies
  • BS/BA degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent certification
  • Strong workflow management skills and experience with Content Management Systems
  • Understanding of online marketing and merchandising
  • Organized, detail-oriented, deadline-sensitive; proactive and anticipative of needs

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Managing Work, Projects, and Policies

Delivering on all aspects of the Digital Marketing program for hotels and the area, including:

  • Maintaining and updating hotel websites, including content, imagery, links, PDFs, alerts
  • Conducting audits for optimization and working with hotels on corrective actions
  • Supporting hotel website development for outlets such as F&B, Spa, Golf, Weddings
  • Managing digital projects like new hotel websites, ERS, and e-services
  • Ensuring online positioning is accurate (Yelp, GMB)
  • Managing third-party channel content scores for visibility

Marketing the Hotel Websites

  • Optimizing hotel websites for search engine traffic, coordinating SEO tactics
  • Executing online marketing activities, including deals and campaigns
  • Developing and deploying email marketing campaigns, creating landing pages, approving offers
  • Launching digital marketing campaigns (display, paid search, social) with approved agencies/vendors
  • Coordinating regional campaign efforts with performance marketing and F&B teams

Supporting Operations

  • Supporting continent & regional campaigns, coordinating hotel participation
  • Developing tactical landing pages, testing, and optimization
  • Managing content requests and onboarding new hotels
  • Training and supporting hotels to elevate digital knowledge
  • Supporting projects to enhance team and hotel performance

Relationships & Processes

  • Improving vendor and agency collaborations
  • Managing key vendor relationships for scalability and consistency
  • Executing internal campaign processes and developing new workflows for efficiency

Additional Responsibilities
