Job Title: Rights Management Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated and bright individual to join our rights management team in this mid-management role. As a member of the rights management team, you will work directly with high-profile media companies and content providers on digital asset management and protection.

The ideal candidate should have an interest in digital media and be excited about growing with a fast-moving entertainment company.

Responsibilities:

  1. Follow best practices and guidelines in rights management.
  2. Record and manage partner rights.
  3. Ensure all videos are claimed and monetized correctly, including policies and split ownership.
  4. Collaborate with Audience Development and Channel Managers to ensure rights claims are accurate.
  5. Track performance data across platforms, download large data sets, and use Excel formulas to analyze data.
  6. Conduct data analysis of UGC content to identify trends, opportunities, and prepare client reports.
  7. Create and present Content ID best practices.
  8. This role includes weekend work as part of a shift pattern.

KPIs / Measures of Success:

  1. Increased viewing of UGC.
  2. Increased revenue.
  3. Volume of claimed videos.
  4. Percentage of monetized views.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  1. Knowledge and passion for online video, especially YouTube.
  2. At least 1-2 years of experience in digital rights, including music rights.
  3. Experience with YouTube CMS.
  4. Related experience in online video, social media, or digital agencies.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Proficiency with Excel formulas and a keen analytical mind.
