We are searching for an experienced Digital and Cloud Assistant Manager/Manager.
Consulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client-centric solutions for RSM’s current and future clients within the middle market. Our Consulting team has a major role to play in driving forward the growth of the firm with over 1,700 people delivering almost £200m revenue.

Overall job purpose
The role is for a digital accounting assistant manager or manager for the North West region. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering client work, proactively identifying client opportunities, and promoting the benefits of cloud solutions to the wider team. The role will be supported by the national digital accounting lead.
This will primarily be a regional role, and some travel will be required.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with partners and portfolio managers to identify client opportunities/internal efficiencies for cloud implementation and optimisation.
- Promoting the completion of and where appropriate carrying out the new digital health checks across the ABA North West portfolio. Tracking the completion of these and following up on opportunities identified.
- Carrying out client work including cloud implementation, finance function optimisation, and Xero training engagements.
- Overseeing junior staff when assisting on projects, providing adequate briefing, supervision, and training, and reviewing work completed for adequacy and competence.
- Raising awareness of digital solutions, particularly but not limited to cloud accounting, Xero, and related apps, across managers and partners, including challenging current ways of working.
- Keeping up to date with developments in the digital accounting space, maintaining Xero certification, and undertaking relevant training.
