Job Title: Diamond Buyer

Benchpeg is seeking an exceptional candidate for an exceptional client. One of the UK’s leading diamond suppliers is looking for an experienced Diamond Buyer to work in its busy diamond office in London EC1.

The successful candidate should have at least 5-10 years of experience in the trade and be GIA qualified. They will play a key role in the smooth operation of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Buy diamonds to meet customer order requirements
• Maintain adequate stock levels to meet day-to-day requirements
• Ensure quality control levels are maintained
• Manage a small team of Diamond Sorters
• Negotiate prices with suppliers
• Order special stones as required
• Oversee stock control

The Details

The role is based at the company\’s headquarters in London EC1. The successful candidate will report directly to the CEO.
