Due to huge market demand and company expansion plans, our Client is in the market for a proven Design Manager from a Joinery, who’s ideally got the buildability knowledge that’s progressed from the bench.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the production and management of design and technical documentation on projects from start to final account
- Working alongside production line
- Working closely with installation teams and Project Manager
- Use specialist computer software to produce plans and technical drawings for a range of products and components (2D and 3D, Solidworks, and Revit)
- Ability in BIM modelling would be an Advantage but not essential.
Requirements:
Just like every business, this contractor looks for a certain type of person. You’ll need proven 5 years (minimum) experience working as a Design Coordinator / Manager for a rival Joinery Contractor, degree or CIOB qualified.
