This fantastic, new, Senior role will require a broad and comprehensive understanding of the Data Controls landscape at HSBC. You will form an integral part of the Global WPB Risk team and will be actively involved in shaping and delivering the BCBS data delivery strategy for WPB Risk. The data strategy involves enabling a centralised global dashboard across WPB Risk across LoBs including Insurance and Global Private Bank.
In this role you will:
- Drive the implementation of optimum data controls for data consumed by the Risk Reporting processes.
- Establish consistent control coverage, ownership and data procedures.
- Provide close engagement with business stakeholders, demonstrating knowledge of their risk and controls landscape.
- Work in close partnership with Technology, DCO, Architecture and Business teams to deliver on key outcomes.
- Act as single point of contact for external stakeholders to ensure requirements are implemented across all Controls.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Advanced understanding of Data controls, at a large-scale Financial Services organisation.
- Effective experience in handling data projects.
- Capable experience of Project / Change management – confident in challenging business processes.
- Capable experience of the implementation of BCBS239 regulation or Insurance risk/data controls, is a nice to have.
This role can be based in Birmingham or Sheffield on a hybrid basis.
