The Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS) business unit at KPMG is looking for a Dynamics 365 F&O Senior Consultant with experience across all phases of large-scale enterprise Dynamics 365 F&O projects. This role requires a hands-on approach, a solid understanding of finance processes and procedures, and knowledge of interfacing and integration with Dynamics products. A demonstrable history of consultancy experience is essential, as this role involves continuous interaction with clients and project teams, including both onshore and offshore development teams. The role also includes presales activities focused on Dynamics F&O functionality and the wider Microsoft platform, along with contributing to proposals and business development, and mentoring junior staff. This position is crucial for KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions’ delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions. It offers a dynamic and exciting opportunity within a rapidly growing business area of a well-established global Big 4 firm.
Responsibilities
- Participate in full end-to-end implementations and all project lifecycle phases
- Work on D365FO interfaces and integrations
- Gather and document functional requirements and perform gap/fit analysis
- Create solution and integration design documents in collaboration with development teams
- Manage scope (creep) and change control processes
- Deliver end-user training to clients and colleagues
- Provide on-site support during delivery and go-live phases
- Maintain awareness of product roadmap and future releases of D365FO
- Respond to RFPs and RFQs
- Resolve complex problems with creative solutions
- Identify opportunities for upselling and promote company capabilities
- Represent KPMG MBS professionally at all times
Requirements, Qualifications, and Skills
- Experience in consulting with strong presentation skills
- Ability to lead meetings and workshops, and confidently present to C-Suite executives
- Minimum 4 years of D365FO or AX2012 implementation experience in modules such as Finance, SCM, Commerce, HR
- Experience with interfaces and integrations in D365FO
- Current Microsoft Dynamics certification in relevant modules
- Beneficial to have experience with LCS and Azure DevOps
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Visio is a plus)
- Understanding of Power Platform and Business Intelligence (BI) is preferred
