Customer Solutions Director – Data Centre Construction – London/UK (hybrid)
This is your opportunity to work for a global data centre operator that has been recognised as one of the fastest growing and well-known groups in the industry.
Having received significant investment, this established data centre group is in their next phase of growth and requires the expertise of a Customer Solutions Director. They have established partnerships with many of the well-known technology powerhouses and tailor their development to their client’s requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-Sales Leadership: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute strategic pre-sales activities, including solution design, proposal development, and customer presentations.
- Industry Leadership: Participate in industry event panels/talks, extoling the Kao Data technical/design leadership, creating and maintaining thought leadership across design, construction, operations, and sustainability.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of M&E engineering to understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions that align with their needs.
- Solution Design: Develop comprehensive, high-quality technical solutions that meet customer specifications, incorporating elements such as power distribution, cooling systems, redundancy, sustainability, and scalability.
- Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their long-term business goals, and providing solutions to support their growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is preferred, but equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- University graduate (or equivalent).
- Full UK driving license.
- Ability to commute into London regularly for weekly meetings.
- Ability to commute into our data centre locations – Harlow, Slough, Manchester, and Northolt, when needed.
- Ability to travel for customer meetings.
