Customer Service and Despatch Administrator

Location: Steeton, BD20

Working Hours: 8.30-5.00 Monday to Friday

Our client is an award-winning artisan bakery manufacturer, founded in 1899. They are seeking an experienced Despatch & Customer Service Coordinator to join their team.

The Position:

We are looking for a methodical, bright individual with keen attention to detail who can take responsibility for order processing and despatching goods for the manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will play a key role in achieving right first-time shipment performance.

Role responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Processing customer orders
  2. Sending out order confirmations
  3. Dispatching orders
  4. Booking in customer orders
  5. Arranging transport
  6. Dealing with customer queries
  7. Answering telephones and handling queries
  8. Liaising with relevant departments
  9. Maintaining a professional telephone manner
  10. Managing time efficiently and prioritising workload
  11. Utilising computer skills including Word and Excel
  12. Communicating effectively at all levels
  13. Applying excellent analytical, decision-making, planning, and organisational skills

This role is ideally suited for individuals with previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
