Customer Service and Despatch Administrator
Location: Steeton, BD20
Working Hours: 8.30-5.00 Monday to Friday
Our client is an award-winning artisan bakery manufacturer, founded in 1899. They are seeking an experienced Despatch & Customer Service Coordinator to join their team.
The Position:
We are looking for a methodical, bright individual with keen attention to detail who can take responsibility for order processing and despatching goods for the manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will play a key role in achieving right first-time shipment performance.
Role responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Processing customer orders
- Sending out order confirmations
- Dispatching orders
- Booking in customer orders
- Arranging transport
- Dealing with customer queries
- Answering telephones and handling queries
- Liaising with relevant departments
- Maintaining a professional telephone manner
- Managing time efficiently and prioritising workload
- Utilising computer skills including Word and Excel
- Communicating effectively at all levels
- Applying excellent analytical, decision-making, planning, and organisational skills
This role is ideally suited for individuals with previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
