Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Customer Data Manager to play an integral role in implementing the customer data platform and supporting the wider global data strategy. This role involves overseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of data solutions to meet the needs of the global customer data, promoting best practices, and driving adoption across markets. The successful candidate will be key in the migration and launch of the new customer data platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams, defining KPIs, ensuring data quality, and maintaining customer regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Proven experience in marketing analytics, data management, or related fields, with a strong understanding of marketing principles.
- Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), data management platforms, data lakes, and marketing automation tools.
- Experience with customer data platform migration.
- Proficiency in analytics tools and querying data using SQL, Python, Dataiku, Snowflake.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder influence.
- Ability to foster a continuous learning environment through skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and compliance with data regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
- A \’can-do\’ attitude, organized, collaborative, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Skills
- Partner and collaborate with regional teams in US and EMEA to standardize practices across markets.
- Build relationships with CDP providers and IT teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and integrations.
- Collaborate with technical teams to define and prioritize platform features for immediate and long-term needs.
- Work with IT and providers to define data schemas supporting business use cases.
- Understand consumer privacy laws and work with legal teams to ensure compliance.
- Define business rules and consent management in the CDP.
- Ensure data quality for marketing campaigns, establishing KPIs and metrics.
- Create documentation and best practice guides for platform implementation.
- Implement testing and optimization to impact revenue positively.
- Serve as the primary contact for platform-related questions and data issues.
- Stay updated on platform features and contribute to future development considerations.
- Promote platform value and encourage organizational adoption.
