The Role

The successful Criminal Solicitor will join this firm’s reputable criminal team. You will handle a range of high-quality work and gain valuable experience in criminal law. Responsibilities include managing your own caseload, achieving Duty status (accreditation support provided if needed), preparing cases at all court levels, advising clients at police stations, attending Magistrates Courts, and assisting with Crown Court preparation.

The Candidate

Applications are welcomed from Solicitors or Legal Executives with at least one seat in crime or those seeking to develop a specialization. Proven technical expertise in criminal law is desirable. Candidates should demonstrate in-depth knowledge of criminal procedures and be willing to learn and adapt within a busy team. Passion for criminal law, excellent time management, and organization skills are essential. Duty qualification or willingness to work towards it is preferred.
