Lead and provide direction to collection teams
Implement effective strategies for debt recovery across credit advisors and team leaders
Work to improve current processes and ways of working to maximise productivity and reduce debt
Build strong relationships with stakeholders
Use reporting to monitor team performance and identify areas for improvement
Drive a motivated and collaborative team environment
Coach, guide, and support team members in the collections department
Design and monitor recovery strategies
Analyze performance KPIs and present progress reports to the business, highlighting wins, opportunities, and risks
Collaborate with other departments and manage stakeholder relationships effectively
Foster a positive and productive team environment

The Successful Applicant

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience in debt recovery within a similar industry involving corporate debt, not just domestic
Understanding of litigation processes and decision-making experience in litigation contexts
Exceptional leadership and team management skills
Strong communication and negotiation abilities
Technologically savvy and quick to learn new systems
Comprehensive knowledge of debt collection regulations and procedures
Confidence and credibility to work closely with the Head of Department and CEO

What\’s on Offer

Salary between £50,000 – £65,000, depending on experience
