- Creative Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the media design team, inspiring them to push boundaries and explore new ideas. Develop and communicate a clear creative vision for each project adhering to the client brief.
- Content Development: Oversee the development of creative concepts, storylines, and visual elements for experiences/interactives, cruise ships, theme parks, museums, visitor attractions, and other destinations around the globe. Ensure that all content is innovative, compelling, and aligned with brand and story objectives.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with executive creative team, writers, directors, producers, and other key stakeholders to bring creative concepts to life. Foster a collaborative and inclusive creative environment where ideas are valued and respected, but also not settling for “good enough”.
- Strategic Planning: Work closely with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans for content development and brand positioning. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to ensure that our content remains relevant and competitive.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality and creativity across all projects. Review and provide feedback on creative materials to ensure that they meet brand standards and objectives.
- Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of creative professionals. Provide guidance, feedback, and support to help team members grow and develop their skills.
- Budget Management: Collaborate with production teams to develop and manage project budgets. Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget constraints.
- Media Support: Support the media as needed with creative treatments, storyboards, sketches, and as needed by creating content to ensure successful delivery of the media treatments.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree equivalent in film, media production, communication, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a creative leadership role within the media industry.
- Proven track record of success in developing and producing high-quality media content across multiple platforms.
- Strong creative vision and ability to think strategically about content development and brand positioning.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a creative team.
- Solid understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in media production.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools for media production, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, etc.
- Experience working with international teams and managing projects with diverse stakeholders is a plus.
