As a cleaning operative, you will undertake cleaning duties across the site, ensuring a complete cleaning service is provided in compliance with CQC and Health & Safety Regulations.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Ensure that assigned areas are clean, presentable, and serviceable at all times to improve customer experience.
- Maintain a clean and tidy environment throughout the hospital, adhering to operational standards.
- Present yourself professionally, courteously, and in accordance with company policies, procedures, guidelines, and values.
- Complete all duties related to cleaning and waste collection within designated premises.
- This role can be physically demanding, involving lifting and manual tasks.
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks such as washing floors, emptying bins, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and dusting, ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Assist with laundry duties and rotas as required.
- Use and store cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations.
- Take responsibility for your area, maintaining high standards.
- Contribute to good working relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Comply with all statutory regulations at all times.
- Follow any reasonable requests from your line manager.
