Job Description:

We are currently seeking personable, enthusiastic, and energetic Cost Managers / Quantity Surveyors to join our team. You will support our growth in the water/utilities sector, making a difference to our business and UK infrastructure.

Responsibilities include:

1. Contributing to Turner & Townsend’s 2025 vision.
2. Building professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
3. Administering contracts according to project policies.
4. Monitoring, forecasting, and reporting project costs.
5. Managing cost variance and contract cash flow.
6. Collaborating with project teams on deliverables and KPIs.
7. Managing contract changes and ensuring governance.
8. Improving forecast and budget accuracy.
9. Providing commercial support to stakeholders.
10. Negotiating final accounts.
11. Leading people and projects as needed.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will have:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with NEC3 contracts (Option C preferred).
• Knowledge of cost and change management.
• Understanding of valuation, risk, procurement, estimating, and pricing.
• Experience with project reporting and collaborative approaches.
• People management skills.
• Knowledge of construction industry practices.
• Degree in a relevant subject (preferred).
• Professional membership (preferred).
