The Cost Management team in Manchester is experiencing growth due to increased client demand. We are seeking to expand our capability and have opportunities for aspiring and current Cost Managers to join an innovative, dynamic team working on industry-leading infrastructure projects. As a Cost Manager at Turner & Townsend, you will have the opportunity to work with high-profile clients, develop your consultancy skills, and diversify your sector experience. We support career progression both personally and professionally. We currently support hybrid working and adopt a forward-thinking approach. Part-time applications are also welcome.

Job Objectives

  • Administer a variety of contracts in line with project objectives and policies.
  • Provide accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting to completion within budget.
  • Proactively monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring timely and correct applications.
  • Collaborate with client and contractor teams to deliver project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives, including programme performance, cost control, and value engineering.
  • Manage contract changes effectively, ensuring projects remain within governance and adopting best practices.
  • Improve the accuracy of forecasts and budgets.

Qualifications

  • Ideally degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
  • Ideally hold or be working towards appropriate professional body membership or equivalent.
  • Experience with Contract Management (NEC3, Option C preferred).
