Your new firm

This forward-thinking Manchester-based accountancy firm has a long history of supporting clients across the North West and the wider UK. They employ over 75 staff covering key service lines such as taxation, advisory, accounts/bookkeeping, and audit. The firm has a diverse portfolio of clients, including multi-million-turnover corporate clients, owner-managed businesses, and startups. The need for a Tax Advisory Senior Manager has arisen due to the firm\’s growth, and this role will work alongside a strong team of collaborative partners.
Your new role

This role is a new addition to the Manchester taxation team, aimed at handling tax advisory work. You will work alongside an experienced Tax Advisory Senior Manager, supporting various businesses and owners. You will manage your own portfolio of UK and international businesses, engaging in activities such as mergers, corporate restructuring, exit planning, MBOs, Business Investment Relief, remittance planning, stamp duty land tax planning, and more. This advisory role offers exposure similar to that of a Big 4 or Top 10 firm but with a broader range of projects.
What you\’ll need to succeed

The ideal candidate is a CTA-qualified advisor with strong corporate advisory and report-writing skills. The firm is interested in entrepreneurial professionals who have experience in Top 10/Big 4 firms and seek more advisory work and autonomy, supported by a team of experienced senior partners.
