Our client in London is looking for a contracts engineer. The ideal candidate will have worked on Jacket and Topsides EPIC contracts/projects. The role is inside IR35.

We are ideally looking for a contracts engineer with a QS background who can handle negotiations associated with high value Jacket and Topsides contracts, including Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, and Construction. Having Subsea SURF credentials could come in handy at some point.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

  • Preferably from a technical / engineering background with considerable experience of the UKCS market.
  • Previous experience in a Contracts Management role.
  • IT literate including SAP & MS Office.
  • Experienced in leading the drafting of terms and conditions for supply chain contracts for goods and services within the Onshore and UKCS E&P environment.
  • Experience working to CRINE LOGIC standards is essential.
  • NEC, Fidic and other construction standards are an advantage.
  • Presentational and communication skills (written & oral).
  • Ability to drive negotiations to achieve the best deal possible.
  • Commercially astute.
  • Able to self-manage and work alongside team members.
  • Develop and mentor others.
  • Lateral thinker / problem solver.
