A leading provider of direct mail solutions is seeking a Continuous Laser Print Operator to join its production team.

Main Purpose of the Role:

The role involves working on continuous Nipson and cut sheet fed Ricoh / Develop laser printers. The primary responsibilities include setting up, adjusting, safely operating, and maintaining programmable printers. The operator will ensure each product meets job specifications and passes relevant QC checks.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Nipson / Ricoh / Develop laser printers, including automated positioning with necessary calculations.
• Set up and operate Tecna / Spedo / Laurenti sheeter and Hunker reel stand and unwind.
• Monitor machine performance to ensure adherence to specifications, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and speed.
• Perform quality checks and stack finished products according to job specifications.
• Accurately record production data on company timesheets.
• Operate equipment at optimal levels to meet job deadlines.

Ideal Candidate:

• Has at least 2 years of laser printer experience, preferably continuous laser printer experience.
• Possesses strong visual attention to detail.
• Works well in a team and is willing to assist others.
• Physically fit, as this is a physical role.
• Ensures work is of the highest standard.
• Committed to health and safety practices.
• Maintains a clean and tidy production area.
• Can work independently to a high standard.
• Experience in direct mail is beneficial.
• Flexible with working hours and willing to do overtime, including weekends.

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shifts from 6am to 2pm or 2pm to 10pm.
