Contentious Trusts and Probate Solicitor

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Dispute Resolution Lawyer with 2-4 years PQE to join a Legal 500-ranked Private Wealth Dispute team in Guildford, Surrey. The firm is a Top 100 practice, recognized for excellence in Dispute Resolution, with specialist teams in property, commercial, and contentious trusts and probate, all ranked in the legal 500.

The role involves working alongside experienced partners on a variety of cases, including:

• Advising trust companies
• Acting on trustee disputes
• Estate disputes involving capacity issues
• Court of protection cases
• Disputing will validity
• Matter under the 1975 act

You will handle a diverse client base, including charities, HNW individuals, and SMEs. The department often refers work through conflict of interest cases at the partner level, providing an opportunity to develop a high net worth caseload and build your personal brand.

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor with 2-4 years PQE
• Experience managing contentious probate matters
• Experience at a reputable practice
• Business development skills and drive to enhance the firm\’s Private Wealth Dispute practice
